We proceeded to Jacob's Field after work, to catch a baseball game by the Cleveland Indians vs Los Angeles Angels! The company provided a suite for us, complete with food, drinks and dessert. It was heavenly. Main problem: dunno the rules of baseball. Heh heh. So we did our homework in the afternoon, reading the general rules on wikipedia.. haha crash course.
From my minimal knowledge, as well as what I've heard, the Indians won 14-2!!! It was a really eventful game [they say usually it's not so exciting]. Other the than many balls being batted out into the crowd [but none to our seating area.. darn], there were 2 home runs, a bat that split [?!!], an Angels pitcher who got hit in his shin so hard he lay down :( , a bat that flew to the audience [and injured someone :x] and other scoring thingies that i dunno. Haha. There were even fireworks man!
I was amused by many things that evening. I loved the 'Flex Cam' thing, where there's this muscle picture on the screen and when the camera shoots you you gotta flex your biceps to fit the picture. Haha! I only saw a 'kissing Cam' thing b4 on The Simpsons, where marge and homer had to kiss when the camera was shooting them. Heehee. There's also a '7th inning stretch' where everyone stands up and sings to this karaoke thing. The animations on the lcd [led?] banners were damn funny too, especially whenever one of the batters 'Choo' [who's korean] came out, they would animate a train and write 'Choooooo'. The crowd would also shout 'Choooo' which coincidentally sounded like 'booo' and confused me sometimes. But that was damn cute! He's a damn good player as well. There's also this fugly mascot called Slider, he looks like a spoof of barney or something, and he goes around shaking his tummy at pple. haha.

there're 2 bar fridges there completely stocked with beer, wine, juices, water. =)

believe me. this was the array of desserts for us! different chocolate/cheese cakes, alcohol shots in chocolate cups, strawberries in chocolate cups w whipped cream, chocolate and peanut, m&ms, ice cream (they give you the whole pint), chocolate coated strawberries... lollipops.. cotton candy.. kua zhang anot?
