As the title implies, 4 guys and a girl went to cuyahoga valley national park. It took a 30 minute drive. Our dear ameek decided to slack in her apartment instead. Generally we trekked about, nothing much to comment.. It wasn't as exciting as we thought.. it's almost like mac ritchie cos it's summer.. it'll probably be ten million times prettier in fall with the multicolored leaves! i also came home covered with mosquito bites. Whoever said there were no mozzies in US is damn wrong! anyways here're the picts.

Jumping for joy that we've reached the end of our 2h Ledges Trail.. Next we went to Brandywine Falls, a 10min drive from Ledges Trail.

After Brandywine Falls (which were pretty boring after you've seen niagara =p) we drove about, reaching some railroad trail thing. being cheapo, we decided to drive along the railroad trail instead of taking the 'scenic train ride' or renting bicycles to explore the area.

Are these clovers? cldnt find a four leaved one. and also, if you can see through my 3x zoom.. a Blue Heron resting in the right picture.

And that's a beaver's den on the left! so cute.. too bad we didn't get to see them cos it was hot.

As you can see.. I cooked chicken rice for dinner. Credits go to sah yi and prima taste packs. :)

I think I spent this entire week totally jet lagged with topsy turvy sleeping hours that are so irregular I can't even remember. Right after the flatmate left for spore for her convo, i ate junk like this at 2am. Lays chips and hot pockets that taste like shit. Stupid me bought 5 boxes of this stupid thing cos there was an offer (im such a sucker for such 'bargains'.. aunty paw at heart, mah) and now they are all sitting in my freezer =(

Luckily jy and co invited us over for dinner that night, so managed to cook some stuff. Jy not in picts cos he is on the phone as usual. Oh, no he was sleeping... so unusual. heh heh.

i did the egg tofu!! heh. the curry by raju was the winner for the night. gd stuff! i also did broiled chicken wings which weren't ready yet at the time of the photo. they sucked cos they weren undercooked and still kinda bloody. grrr.

Super tired when I got back from dinner, but still gritted my teeth to make my strawberry cheesecake!! heh heh.. so ai4 wan2 right. After which I-who-was-supposed-to-study-for-theory-test happily set my alarm to wake up early and crashed into bed..

After seeing (actually, experiencing :( ) nicole drive us to work (she still learning to drive) I was inspired to quick learn howta drive! So I jio cy to take theory test on saturday so that I will actually force myself to study. If you have been following this entry, you will realise that I totally didn't study before saturday, but ended up studying only on sat morning...

French toast stick things w maple syrup, nescafe 3-in-1 coffee and Digest Of Ohio Motor Vehicle Laws. heh heh totally last minute cramming.

After breakfast while waiting for cy and my chauffeur, I went down to check with the office for bong's package.. which was suppoed to have arrived but they neba inform me! So worrying!! And.. tada!!!

After which, I went down to take the test of course. Supposed to get 30 out of 40 right to pass, then will get a temp license which allows you to drive with any licensed driver age >= 21.. So relaxed right. In fact, I received the license once I paid $23 (i think) for some package thing, before I even took the test. HMm!! Weird man. Anyway, about the test.. I was a lil panicky after getting about 4-5 wrong. haha.. but the cute thing is once you get 30 right you pass. So it was pretty ok and common sensical as usual. And on hindsight I realised that since I could skip some questions, I could actually have decreased my probability of failing by skipping those I wasn't sure, and get a 100% rate. Haiyoh, so stupid.

Notice my Hair's brown and Eyes are black. But the label says hair black eyes brown. heh heh.

Anyways, I did pass, so now ohio has one more dangerous driver on the streets. =p not that I've been driving at all.. Everyone's usually tired after work and I don't have the heart to bug someone to teach me. :( Maybe weekends..

After the theory test, we went to check out digital cameras at circuit city and shit-i-cant-remember.. another shop, and then went back to cook for lunch. Joined jy again with my cheesecake and some ikan-bilis-cabbage.

We were supposed to go to West Side Market, and also the chinese grocery store on Payne (i've wanted to go there since forever) but everyone was lazy and sleepy so we all went back to our rooms to nua.
