Was jeffrey's bday today (jeff wong the colleague, not pawsieboy) and my new manager (New. heh) has also arrived this week. Thus the test team decided to go our for a nice dinner at lee hwa restaurant. ordered tonnes of dimsum, had hot+sour soup, roast duck and chicken and egg tofu. And the manager qia4 us.. thats the best part of course. hehehehe. Camera was out of batt so no photos.

After george's suggestion, it's put-in bay island visiting for us this weekend! Read that there's kayaking, and various places around the island to visit. so off we went on our 2hour journey to sandusky to take a ferry over.

thanks to ks' car gps navigation system, we reached the jet express station first! the rest all got lost. haha. the lousy researchers (dunno who) chose this jet express which is very expensive! luckily i did my hw and i had heard of the Miller ferry (somewhere else) which is way cheaper. So we asked around and this nice man nxt to some hot dog stall taught us to take route 6, then route 2 after turning at the 2nd light. for a 20 minute drive and slower ferry, we get to save lots! hoho.

the ferry v cool can ferry cars one! and thats puji.. he recently bought a canon rebel xt. hee so cool maybe some time in my life ill take up photography er, just to buy a cool camera like that and walk around with a tripod hahaha!

the $2 bus took us to the town of put-in-bay. By this time jeff cldn't stand me taking my own shots anymore. [cos i insisted on taking it myself even when he volunteered to help me take a photo] and then he said "then all your photos will have your armpit you know". Ew. that's a gross thought. I gotta make sure my photos dont include that from now on. haha.

While queuing up for lunch this super cute doggy came up to me. I wanna bring him home!

somehow i always end up going out w huge grps of guys. the other gal colleagues all lazy! never go.. dua me.

on the $3 taxi back to the ferry! but we had a discount were only charged $1.50 each. yay.

and of course, food.. We had dinner at Applebee's and I had my fish and chips! i'd been craving for it the whole day, so I was very very very very satisfied. =)

in conclusion, put-in-bay.. pretty nice place to just sit back and have a beer. I was disappointed that there was no beach tho. yah.. got kayak but no beach! wth! Transportation is also a problem cos it's so expensive to rent a golf cart (buggy) [$20 for an hour]. Should have paid to drive over. So we did sooooo much walking and walking and walking. That was about it.
