One of the reasons our US colleagues hate the snow/winter/cold so much, is having to scrape snow and ice off your car every night.
only in the US, can you have a boss with locks, scraping your car for you! Haha he looks so happy doing it! =)

yl doing a snow angel in front of our office lobby. Haha, too bad I wasn't adequately dressed or I would have tried it out too.

Piled up snow at Golden Gate Shopping Center. Notice how the 'shopping centers' look like here? They consist mostly of a huge car park in the center, and little shops everywhere, and you gotta drive from one end to the other to visit multiple shops.

At Aurora Farms with Erwin and Sebastian. Isn't it interesting how the ice forms from the fountain?
poor ducks must be really cold.

Lots of snow still
driving in snow can get scary. apart from low visibility, the vehicle also tends to skid when you do turns, even at very low speeds.

So much snow we had difficulty walking up these steps from our office building.

Squirrel trails are damn cute. They connect all the trees!
icicles! I saw some that were curved.. probably formed as the winds blow them into shape.

It was snowing quite a bit here, but the picture doesn't really show it clearly so we shall let youtube do the job of painting a thousand words, (or more?)

Everyday, while I'm waiting for the lifts to come, I'd walk to the windows there and look down and this is what I see. It's usually a pretty good gauge of the weather/road conditions for the day.

There's this house very near our ski resort, that always has deers outside it! I think it's cos it's near the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. So cool. Can you imagine waking up and walking out of your house to be greeted by deers everyday?
pretty skies at giant eagle, legacy village

The fountains at the Aurora Farm pond have been working very hard.. the photos from Feb 4 are put here for you to compare how much ice has been formed.

Pretty spectacular, huh. In contrast, the pond has thawed slightly.. but it still looks extremely cold to me..

Everyday when I drive to work, I pass by this sign and hope that the light doesn't turn red on me, cos it's the only light that doesn't allow a right turn on red for my route to work.
After a whole winter, I still love snow, very much.
