Yellowstone 2 - Big Horn National Park

Saturday, May 26, 2007

We reached Big Horn National Park in the evening. We had no idea that this national park existed, so it was a very pleasant surprise. Although the hilly roads slowed us down, but it was prettiness.

windy roads

the camry gang

dunno how many billion year old rock formations. sedimentary rock.. rings a bell?

oily paw.. no shower for 1 day =(

a hint of autumn, winter and summer

shell falls

you can always count on your colleagues to clown around outside tacobell

cotton candy clouds. unipaw would approve.

an accident.. looked quite bad.

Yup, and that's what the journey to Yellowstone was like. Tonnes of prettiness, leaving us gasping and camera-clicking at every turn!

We finally reached our cabins close to midnight.

the rooms were pretty small, but cosy!

we washed up, then went over to the guys' place for some indian poker. the Indians didn't know how to play so we had to teach them.

we travelled through the night.. through Illinois, Iowa.. next day we reached South Dakota. The drive really wasn't as bad as we thought, maybe because we had psyched ourselves up adequately. In fact, it was so fun cos driving through states allow you to see the different landscapes. We also took turns so it was really nice.

see the 2 roads branching out on the left and right? also reflected in the GPS map!

no idea what these mountains were.. rockies?

and we reached Wyoming.
